Happy Sunday! Today was yet another good, relaxing Sunday. I got to see a bunch of my old leaders and friends at church which was awesome and well, you know, going to church is always good too! I got to take a small nap (even though i couldn't get to sleep), but it was definitely nice just to lay there for a while. Meredith and Syd came over for dinner which was fun and I got to go see Stephanie's wedding dress which is always fun! But here's the topper. I was downstairs watching the football game with my Grammy and we were just kinda flippin around to see what else was happenin on the TV scene and what did I find? THE SOUND OF MUSIC! Only the most amazing musical of all time. Now, anyone that knows me or my family at all, knows that we go way back with this movie. My dad walked in to my Grammy and me singing the songs and bouncing a little on the couch and the best part is that he just walked in like nothing was different or out of place. Rightfully so though, we do that sort of thing all the time. But really...you just cant be in a bad mood after you've watched that movie. Its just way too good. My favorite line from that movie has got to be, "Reverend Mother...I have sinned." BWAHAHAHAHA those nuns...you'd better watch out for them. Sneaky, sneaky, sneaky! I'd like to think that if I were ever a nun, I would be that cool. :)
So I've decided that my new favorite TV show is going to be Dance Wars: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann. Well, aside from Smallville of course. It doesnt start until January, but hey...that's definitely close and it looks like something that I'm gonna make sure that I watch every week. And that I'll probably wish that I tried out for. hahaha. One day, I'll try out for something like that just so I can say that I did it and not wish that I did. Sound good? Good. Anyway, I'm gonna go play with Puden now, so I'll catch y'all later. Happy early New Years Eve!

Happy Christmas to all and to all a good night!!!
Alright, Halla...this is for you! I want you to be able to have things to read whilst you're at work, so I'll try my hardest to update regularly. P.S. I miss you bad. We didn't get to play mario party or mario kart together and I gotta say, I'm pretty bummed about it. Yawning with you during the hymns in relief society just isn't enough Halla time to fill my quota! haha. Anyway, HAPPY CHRISTMAS Y'ALL! I hope everyone's was as awesome as mine was. I love being home with the family! We had so many people over today so it was pretty loud and crazy, but still way fun. I didn't even have to open a lot of my presents this year which was pretty funny. Syd was definitely the present helper this year! :) I felt kind of like one of those really rich Queens or something when people just brought stuff for you. I would write down who gave me what so I could write out my thank you cards later, and I would look up and Syd was workin on my next one. It was the quickest system I've ever experienced! haha
So the breakdown of Christmas goes as follows:
I woke up and had some breakfast and all that, we took family pictures and opened presents once Ben, Meredith and Syd came over and then Puden and I got to watch Harry potter on HD...it was A freakin mazing! I just love that movie. I think my favorite present that I got this year is my "I Love Auntie" calendar of Sydney pictures. I'm so excited to flaunt it in my room! :) Once we had all the yummy food, I made the mistake of going outside where all the kids were and jumped in a pile of leaves. After that it was all over...I was attacked by all sorts of kids, leaves and other flying objects...like feet. haha. When I went to take my shower like 5 hours later, I was still finding leaves in strange places. haha. After that we played "London Bridges" for at least 30 minutes. Pretty sure I haven't played that in YEARS. It was then followed by a game of catch phrase. Ya know...I've realized that we're all too competitive for our own good. We ended up engageing in some playful bantering more than once. hahaha. Gotta love the fam! Ben said that when Sydney woke up this morning, they were like hey babe, do you want to go see if Santa came? And her reply was, and I quote, "I love Auntie." haha I've found my shadow!
Meredith, Syd and I are hittin the shops tomorrow. I'm so excited to finally have a heavy coat...well that is, if I can find one! :) I don't know if they actually sell those here, but I figure if all else fails, I can hit up some place when I get back to Provo and give it to me for my birthday. haha. I hope I'm not the only person that does that. Every year, before my birthday, I take myself out shopping and buy me something fun that I want. I think last year it was a movie which wouldn't surprise me in the least, but hey, what are you gonna do?! :)

Sunday's Musings
Holy crap! I just love Sundays. I was kind of hoping for a quiet Sunday for a change. One where I get to take a nap and just kind of relax and enjoy the slowness of the day...yeah, that DEFINITELY didn't happen. :) It was a weird day from the start. My mom came into my room before I had woken up and started talking to me, however I wasn't really conscious at the moment. Usually, she tries to wake me up before she starts talking to me, but maybe she's a little out of practice. Anyway, I go downstairs cuz she made us some oatmeal for breakfast. I showered and got ready for church as normal, but once I was almost done, my cousin whitney comes in and starts to climb all over me. I continued being a jungle gym up until we left for church where I continued to be a jungle gym for Sydney and an apparently very fun poking object for Ben, Heath and Cody. haha. good times. Today was my day that I just couldn't catch a break. lol.
I think the best part of church (aside from the Spirit n stuff) was the fact that during the Sacrament prayer, Sydney farted really big on my lap. Our whole row was just cracking up because it was insanely large in stature. I'm sure the Bishopric was thinking, "Who are these crazy visitors and why are they laughing so hard?" lol. Good times. Sydney then decided to fart while she was sitting in my hands which is always funny, right?
After church, we went home and I was then bombarded by both Sydney and Whitney to read them book upon book. Now I'm at Ben and Merediths and they just turned on Elf and I'm so excited to watch it since I haven't seen it this year. This movie just cracks me up.
In all, its been a good Sunday. It was nice to not have to worry about who was saying the prayers, what songs we were going to sing and all that jazz. Not to mention that any day where Syd randomly looks at you, gives you a big sloppy kiss and says, "I just love you, Auntie," can't be labeled as a bum day.

Humble Pie
Alright, so since I've been back, me and Syd (and sometimes Meredith and Grammy) play wii bowling. Let's just say that I haven't beat Syd ONCE since I've been home. That's my new New Years Resolution. She whomps me every time. Talk about GAY. haha. Its definitely funny though.
Okay...may I just have my moment to say...THE MAVS BEAT THE SUNS! WAHOO! That's right. I haven't slept so good in my life. lol. Well, except for when the beat the heat or the Lakers...come to think of it, I sleep really well when the beat the spurs and the rocket too. So lets just say that I sleep really well whenever we win! But especially well when we beat those guys!
Yesterday meant another trip to Wendy's for lunch. I think I should keep a tally of how many times my dad and I go there. I'm sure it will be pretty high by the time I leave. I wrapped an insane amount of presents yesterday and the weird part is, is I actually enjoyed it. lol. That usually doesn't happen. Its probably because none of them were mine this time. :) I'm sure that part is yet to come though. They went back to the mall today to get stuff for me and Puden, so that must have been why I didn't wrap any of mine yesterday. :)
Anyway, I'm heading out so I can go party with the sistah! Boom baby!!! XOXO

FINALLY!
Okay, so I'm FINALLY back in Texas and I'm LOVING it! All except for the part where my brother and I are trying to figure out what in the world to get my grammy and we've got nothing. Surfing the internet for ideas doesn't really work so well when you don't know what you're looking for! :)
Today was definitely awesome! I got to go to the airport with Emily and we got cinnabons for breakfast...yummy! Then I got to fly home with my Grammy which was freakin sweet! When we got here, my dad took us to Wendy's for lunch (go figure) where we met Meredith and Syd where she preceeded to hit me in the head with a balloon. haha. Good times. I came home and got to unpack and organize my CDs (hahah...hi, can we say nerd?) and then there was the traditional partying with the fam. It really doesn't get much better than that...not to mention that the weather is around 68 degrees which means no snow, no frost bite and no cold noses! :)
Okay, so back to the finally business...I'm FINALLY done with finals, I'm FINALLY done with that 50 hour project and Trevor FINALLY held my hand...a while ago! hahah. Sorry about the lack of updating, but now that I have no life aside from my family, I'll probably update this thing a lot more. haha. But yeah, so lets just put it this way...I ended up oweing M&Ms, ice cream and pizza for those of you who know what that means! hahah.
Well, I need to get back to surfing the internet for Grammys gift and me and Puden are watching Friends, so that means I should probably get back to laughing my head off! Catch ya lata!

The bug!
So, either I'm really nice and having sympathy pains for Ben, Meredith and Syd, or my body is just way more resilient than theirs cuz I finally got the flu that they all had last week. It's not bad, but I'm definitely staying home tonight so it doesn't get worse. Bad timing to get sick! BLEH...but its okay..>I love them anyway. Its better than getting sick while I'm at home on vacation. Although, I miss getting babied by my mommy! :) Well, it's quittin time! Peace!

What year is it again?
Okay, so here is my new dilema...at work, I've been entering data into our databases for the last eternity, it seems. Anyway, all of the data that I'm entering now is from 2004 and I realized the other day when I was doing budgeting stuff for work, I was putting 2004 on everything. I had to go back and look at all of my papers that I have written in the last little while that I haven't turned in yet to make sure that I put the right year on it! Sad, sad, sad. I guess I shouldn't feel too bad about though. I remember when i came up to BYU to visit Puden when I was a senior in high school, I went to class with him and Pooh and they had a paper due in American Heritage that day. I look at Pooh's paper and it said like September 23, 2002 or something like that, when it was really April 2004. Talk about hilairous. He was like yeah, so I stayed up all night writing this paper and when I woke up this morning to reread it to make sure it made sense, it wasn't even about what the paper was supposed to be about! hahaha...poor pooh bear. Gotta love it though. Classic!
I heard it was supposed to snow today...it makes me cold just thinking about it. But, no worries, cuz I got my SPACE HEATER. Pretty sure that my boss loves me a lot for buying me that last Christmas. Or maybe he looks at me shivering in my corner and he felt bad for me. hahaha. Oh well, the motive doesn't matter...what matters is that I have it and I'm warm! I remember busting it out in the middle of September though, so I'm pretty sure if it gets any colder than this (which I'm sure it will) I'm going to die! :) Well, Meredith, I hope you guys get home okay! Call me when you get there! Love you bad! XOXO

Back in the groove...
Thanksgiving is over and I must say, I'm kinda bummed! Actually, I'm really bummed. I've got my senior thesis paper due on Tuesday which...well, let's just say that I will be living in the library today, and now that I think of it...I'll be living there for the next week and a half. My 50 hour family history project is due next week and I definitely only have like 17 hours. I really need to learn not to procrastinate, but let's face it, if I haven't learned how not to do it by now, the chances of me changing it are kinda slim! :) Meh well, what's college life without no sleep right?
I hope everyone's Thanksgiving was awesome! I know mine was! It was so awesome to see Ben, Meredith and Syd again! I just love those guys! Meredith and I were talking the other day about how this has probably been the easiest semester for the both of us since I've gotten to see her every month this semester except for September...now that I think of it, that month went by INCREDIBLY slowly! :) It definitely couldn't have happened during a better semester tho. I dunno what I'd do without my Mer Bear!

The Countdown to Thanksgiving
HOLLA! So can I tell you how excited I am to have a few days off with no work or school. It has definitely been needed since like 2 months ago. haha. I'm pretty sure I wont get too caught up with everything, but I have plans to...lol. That's all that matters right? If anything, Meredith, make sure I write my research paper and get caught up on my reading ok? And maybe my two other papers for marriage prep...do you know how nice it will be if I can get that all done?! WOOO! We're doing this study at work were I have to go observe the teachers and students in their classrooms which is way fun, but since the times during the day that I have to go are the target student's most difficult time of the day, its not during my work hours which means it pretty much shoots any free time I have in between classes. You know what that means...no homework time and more importantly, no nap time. BLEH. I'm gonna die. haha. Oh well, hopefully my boss will let me take off the extra two hours somewhere else so I wont have to come in or something.
This weekend is gonna be pretty busy...I've got two dates and I owe pizza to this other guy cuz I lost a bet. haha...so Meredith, I'm gonna try hard to see you on Saturday cuz I want to really bad, but i probably wont be able to stay incredibly long. For sure though, I'll come by on Sunday after my church meetings n stuff.
So there's this guy that I like and its driving me crazy...I haven't felt like so much of a stupid little girl in a long time. I don't have time to only think about him during the day! lol. Unfortunately, that's how it happens a lot! BLEH. And then when i'm with him I'm like...hmmm...is he ever gonna hold my hand already? UGH...boys drive me crazy. The end.
Anyway, I'm totally stoked that some of my favorite people are comin in a couple of days! YAYUH! I can't wait. This will be a MUCH needed reunion! I need to get out of Provo, BAD (as you can probably tell from the previous paragraph). Anyway, I gotta get back to work. Peace ladies! XOXO

Not-Thanksgiving
Howdy do dah! So, do you ever get so dry that every part of your body itches? especially when you sit indian style or soemthing and it stretches your skin and it almost hurts? ew...Utah can be a pretty stinky situation! I'm excited to go back to Texas where you don't need lotion because you're in a constant sweat! YEAH.
Sunday is gonna be awesome...my apartment and a guys apartment in the ward are having a not Thanksgiving feast. We're making a lot of Thanksgiving food and chowing down. To add to it, my apartment is dressing up like Indians and they are dressing up like Pilgrims. Its gonna rock.
So, funny story...I turned in the rough draft to my senior theme paper and my teacher called me up to his desk after class on Tuesday and so I'm like freaking out thinking he think I plagerized or something and he was like so...I LOVED your paper. Have you ever thought about writing self-help books? hahah He proceeded to talk for about 5 minutes about how he could see me on a billboard somewhere with my best selling book. haha. I was like ummm no...but now I'm thinking about it. lol. Not that I would ever do it, cuz honestly...writing when i don't have to? BLEH. haha anyway, I thought it was funny tho!
Can I say how excited I am for everyone to come up for Thanksgiving? YEAH! Anyway, I will leave yall with a word of praise...GO MAVS! WOOO!! XOXO

HAPPY HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
WAHOO! IT'S FINALLY HERE! I stayed up last night to finish my costume with my roommates and may I just say that we LOOK GOOD! YAYUH! Talk about awesome. I'm so darn excited. Rest assured, there will be pictures! The only bad thing about a holiday coming up is that after today, it will be over. Sad day...but that also means that on Thursday I get to redecorate for Thanksgiving. And you know what that means...it's almost time to decorate for CHRISTMAS. haha. Not to mention that my favorite people are coming up to the cold bad place weather for Turkey Day. I would really prefer to travel down there...I've never appreciated birds more than I do now...flying south for the winter is so dang smart. Whoever stays here if they have a free one way ticket to warm weather is cRaZy. I have met so many people from Utah and I'm thinking...WHY? Why haven't you moved yet? hahaha...I guess I'm just biased cuz I love it in Texas and not so much in Utah when it's cold. Although, I will admit that if I go to Texas Women's to get my masters like I'm kinda planning, it will be really weird to not be in a Mormon school. It has definitely been the coolest experience.
Anyway, so I get to DJ the party tonight...lucky for me! :) That just means that the music is gonna rock since I'll be in charge. haha. After which I will proceed to partake in yet ANOTHER bet. Which by the way, I lost the card game bet, but won the stinky socks bet, so it worked out well. Anyway, tonight's bet is on pizza for a Mario kart tournament on N64. I'm fairly confident only because when I'm losing, I cheat. Aka, sitting in front of the TV so the other person can't see, or unplugging their controller. He never said I couldn't cheat whenever we laid down the rules, so I'm good to go! :)
May I just say that I wrote an 8 page paper on Monday night, and studied hardcore for a midterm that I just took (and feel pretty good about by the way) and now I just have one more paper to write which I've already found the articles for!! I'm so glad I made it through this week without passing out.
So there was this lost dog that was roaming around our apartment complex for the last little bit so we've taken her in and fed her n stuff. She has a collar but no tags or anything and she's soooo sweet. Anyway, last night she kept wanting to sleep on my bed with me, however...can we say no? I kick. :) Anyway, I guess I threw one of my cuddle pillows off the bed last night and when I woke up she was like totally sprawled out on it. lol. needless to say, I'll definitely be washing that thing before I reuse it, but she's just so cute and I love it! May I just say that I wrote an 8 page paper on Monday night, and studied hardcore for a midterm that I just took (and feel pretty good about by the way) and now I just have one more paper to write which I've already found the articles for!! I'm so glad I made it through this week without passing out.
So there was this lost dog that was roaming around our apartment complex for the last little bit so we've taken her in and fed her n stuff. She has a collar but no tags or anything and she's soooo sweet. Anyway, last night she kept wanting to sleep on my bed with me, however...can we say no? I kick. :) Anyway, I guess I threw one of my cuddle pillows off the bed last night and when I woke up she was like totally sprawled out on it. lol. needless to say, I'll definitely be washing that thing before I reuse it, but she's just so cute and I love it! Anyway, I have class now, so I'm out! LATAS!! XOXO

Good times...
So this week has been pretty good despite how crazy busy I've been. After having a GREAT weekend in Vegas with my favorite gal pal/sister, Monday kicked off with a sweet round of the fruit game at FHE. You basically pick a fruit and if someone calls your fruit, you have to yell someone else's fruit before you get hit in the head with something...in this case, a blow up baseball bat! It was definitely good. Not to mention that the dessert was yummy, which was then followed by an intense whipped cream fight! I definitely got it the worst, but it was worth it. It was really only because everyone realized that after the huge fight, I didn't have any on me so they all ganged up on me. I had no hope of staying unsticky! :) Tuesday I worked a lot on my costume which is looking awesomely by the way! I also was invited to attend the much anticipated "Bob Ross Date." I'm sure you all remember Bob Ross...the afro painting man, who paints happy little everythings! It was definitely awesome. There were three "couples" and each couple had their own canvas to share. They found an episode of Bob Ross on youtube and then we painted...needless to say that it didn't turn out QUITE like Bob's, but in Flaura's words, "Oh I improved it!" It was definitely fun. Today I got a lot done with my genealogy projects (that's right...two!) and more on one of my communications papers and yes, more with my costume. I ran into Laura (my roommate) today when walking home from class, so we decided to stop at J-Dawgs which is this student owned hot dog stand. I hear about how awesome it is ALL the time by everyone and their mom and so today was my first day to try one and woah dang...it was good! Not only that, but on the way home, we saw a huge pile of leaves in someone's yard and we jumped in it. Good times. Not to mention that we also took a study break to go to one of the best ice cream places ever...Sub Zero! They make it right in front of you with liquid nitrogen. It's freaking awesome and it just tastes so darn good!
THe rest of the week will probably be the same awesomeness! I'm going to the Zoo with Zarah and Ashton tomorrow so we can check out the penguins (mine and Zarah's favorite animal), which will then be followed by watching Smallville and the Office and then playing a round of egyptian rat screw (an awesome card game) becuase he thinks he can beat me and I say otherwise. So we have a bet on it...who ever loses has to buy the other person some sub zero. I'm happy cuz either way, I get ice cream! :) Friday I have a blind date with someone that my friend absolutely loves, so that should be fun and Saturday I'm wakin up early to go to the temple, and then high tailin it up to SLC to do more genealogy research like ALL DAY. WAHOO. I also have another bet going on with my roommate this week...its kinda gross, but whatever...I don't care. haha. She decided that she wanted us to see who could go a whole week without changing socks. We've just finished day 3 and well...it kinda smells, but I think I'm gonna hold out! If we both last til Sunday we get Dairy Queen ice cream, if someone poops out...the other buys it for both. If you can't tell...I LOVE ice cream and it pretty much motivates me to do anything. haha. Sleep...what's that?
So, can I tell you how excited I am about the office and Smallville tonight?! YAYUH! I always look forward to my Thursdays...I work in the morning for what seems like forever haha, and then I have class, but i get out at 3:15 so I high tail it off to the temple and BOOYAH...my Thursdays rock. Although, today, I'm incredibly tired. I've had so much to do this week, not to mention that I haven't gotten a full 8 hours of sleep in who knows how long. I'm definitely excited to take a nap on Sunday if it happens! YAY. I've decided that the weekend after Vegas with Meredith, I'm going to purposely not plan anything so i can lay around in my sweats all day, catch up on homework and sleep...I'm so darn excited! I might even get to squeeze in a movie on Saturday. WAHOO! You know what that means tho...time to bust out While You were Sleeping or something awesome like that. I always wonder how I made it thru Seminary...it still baffels me!
Okay happy moment number 2: I went to bed bath and beyond last night cuz when Dad was up here way back when, he stole one of my pillow cases on accident and so I went to go get a new one and when I walked in it smelled like CHRISTMAS. Weekend musings
Okay so this weekend was kinda bitter sweet for me. It was awesome because of Conference (of course), but it really sucked other than that. It was kinda lame. I really feel like I didn't get one. I've been so excited to go to conference (I had tickets to the Sunday afternoon session that my dad got for me) and two of my friends wanted a ride up there too but of course they were running late (like 30 minutes late!) BLEH...anyway, by the time we got there, you can imagine that the traffic was ICKY so yeah...they gave my seat away and I was totally bummed. I admit, I cried. ARG. Oh well...hopefully next time.
I did get to do laundry which makes me happy cuz that means I get to wear a bunch of my big fuzzy sweaters this weekend cuz it was CoLd! AH! :) I also got to watch Jungle Book for the first time yesterday since like forever ago so that was definitely a huge pick me up! Not to mention that #5 returned the favor of us pranking them! I dunno if I told yall that we broke into their apartment and stole all of their plates and bowls in exchange for our oven door that they had stolen the previous week. So yeah, we wake up yesterday morning and laura goes to leave out the back door and she opens it, then closes it really fast and just kinda points at the door...so I go over and open the door to find that they have stretched fake spider webs (lime green by the way) all over our front door, attached with coloring book pages that they colored. lol. They made new rules that we're not allowed to steal stuff anymore. I think they were jealous that we knew how to break into their apartment but they didn't know how to get into ours. haha. Meh well...it's fun anyway! i'm not quite sure how we're retaliating yet, but it'll be good, whatever it is! I hope everyone's conferencing weekend was awesome! YAHOO!

Crazy days ahead...
Howdy! So, I've been so incredibly busy these last few weeks that I don't remember quite what it's like to sit and do nothing...or even sitting and watching a movie without worrying about the other stuff that I'm supposed to be doing. haha. Meh, that's college life right? I'm definitely excited for Meredith to come out in two weeks so I can get away for a while. That will be so nice! Vegas...here I come!!
So, as I'm sitting at work today, I realize that I'm getting a huge craving for Ice Cream sandwiches...i want them bad. haha. I'll probably have to go get some after work. lol. OOOOOO, I don't remember if I already wrote about this, my my friends and I decided that we're going to dress up as the Justice League for Halloween this year in honor of our love for Smallville. Some of our roomies don't really know about the justice league however, so we're kinda just saying super hero's in general, but we're gonna try and get as many as we can from the league! I'm gonna be the Green Arrow and every time I watch clips from Smallville with Oliver Queen in em, it makes me miss him. lol...he was just too darn cute to not be on the show anymore! It's a tragedy and I can't wait until the episodes when he comes back! :) Yeah, so I'm pathetic, but what are you gonna do? At least I'm not still in love with the gay guy from Nsync. haha. I like to call that my Ross factor. I remember when he came out of the closet, I had about 5 or 6 of my friends and family ask me how I was doing and if I was handling the news well or not. hahahaha. Silly silly silly!
My new favorite show (aside from Smallville of course) is the Office. It's so darn hilarious. So, if you don't watch it, you should! Thursday nights at 8...I love that they moved times to fit my Smallville schedule! :) Well kids, I'm off to get back to work. catch ya on the flip side!

TGIF
So, may I extend my deepest apologies...I know the last entry was REALLY LONG! I didn't even realize how long it was until after I had already posted it. lol. Anyway, with that said, my I say that I LOVE Fridays? In honor of the good ol' TGIF days, I watched Full House during my lunch break today. Good times, good times. It was the one where DJ gets to play Juliet in the school play and Stephanie makes the brain for her science fair project. Anyway, I only say that cuz I know Meredith has seen all of them like a bajillion times!
So, the FedEx man just came in to deliver something and I had to sign one of those weird computer things. Can I tell you how much I don't like signing those things? Kinda like on my drivers license...it looks like some 2 year old grabbed a pen and did it for me...ah, its trouble with a capital T! AND can I say how excited I am that Smallville started up last night? Yeah baby! There was definitely a lot of screaming going on while watching it!
It's official...I finally caved. I decorated for Halloween last night. I just couldn't fight it anymore and none of my roommates were home except for Emily and she was like seriously...just do it! haha. So yeah, she talked me in to it. Like it was hard, but whatever. I had her blessing, so I caved. It all worked out well cuz I've gotten lots and lots of compliments on it from people who've seen it already! YAYUH. Okay, I'm making sure this one isn't long and I need to get back to work so *waves goodbye*

The Longest Week Ever...
Howdy, howdy, howdy! So, I've decided that this week has been absolutely the longest week ever...well more like this month. It seems to me that the month of September is never ending and do you know why it's going so slow?...I have a hypothesis! Ever since I got here and school started, I've had this awful urge to decorate for Halloween. I finally caved on Monday and put up some stuff that was sitting around our closet that I had bought after Halloween last year so it didn't get in the Halloween box. My roommates think I'm absolutely crazy, but I can't help it and I promised them that I wouldn't touch the other decorations until Monday...that's gonna be a beautiful day...if it ever gets here!
So, who is excited for SMALLVILLE tonight!??!! *raises her hand really high* Yeah, except for we have our roommate date tonight to the world of dance concert so we'll have to tape it. The only problem is, is I was playing around with the VCR last night to see if there was a way to do the timer on it and I pushed something bad and now this horrible low pitched moaning sound comes up whenever we try to record stuff. It's actually really funny but not funny enough for me to be 100% okay with the fact that I may have to watch the first episode of Smallville with horrible sound. However, me, Jen and Emily took it as an encouragement to practice our harmonizing while humming talents. I must say, we are good. probably even the next MoTab, well without guys anyway.
Okay, referring back to the last post about the roommates owing up...yeah, so we're up to ice cream now which is AWESOME, but here's my M&M story...the first time us roommates got M&Ms, Emily and I decided that we were going to practice sitting at opposite ends of the dinner table and throwing M&Ms into each other's mouths. Well, you can imagine that after getting 3 sets of M&Ms (with at least 2 bags each set), we got pretty darn good at it. We started with the regular M&Ms since they are smaller, but now we're up to the peanut and peanut butter kind and we still got it! The best is when we throw them at the same time and still catch them. I think we're actually better at that than doing it separately. Anyway, so two days ago when we were practicing, Emily threw one at me and it hit my tooth...it hurt. Yesterday, we decided to practice again and I returned the favor. BWAHAHAHA, but the best part is, we decided to get Jen involved and when we threw it at her, it hit her lip just right so that it got sandwiched between her lip and her tooth and it cut her lip and it looked like it was bleeding for a little bit! hahahaha...this is a very dangerous game. Do not try this at home.
So, weird story time...although, I must warn the readers...this next paragraph will entail me talking about "being a girl" if you catch my drift, so enter at your own risk. So, ya know how I've been taking birth control for my Menopause symptoms? BLEH...anyway, so my body has finally gotten used to it I think, and this weeks is the week for the sugar pills and you know what that means...CRAMPS, PMS, the whole bit. Anyway, the strangest thing is, with these pills, my cramps are TERRIBLE. At least worse than I've ever had before and yet, for some reason, I'm in the BEST mood. My roommates even noticed it. I feel like crap and yet I'm sitting at my desk doing homework and I'm happy about it for some reason. I was even singing in the shower yesterday and that's saying something. I usually love to sing in the shower, but well, when I have to get up as early as I do, singing doesn't usually happen because I'm just not awake enough to think straight! So yeah, strangely enough, I'm kinda sad for this week to be over because then I'll be back on my pills and my mood will go back to the somber, tired me. Well, hopefully not, but it's defintiely a possibility. Although that also means no more hot flashes...I just don't know which is better! I'm kinda hoping that the tired, somber mood the last three weeks was due to a lot of crap that went on and all the stress it put me under, but we'll see. I realize now that on the pills, I'm a lot more emotional than normal. lol...watch out world, here I come!

Guilty as charged!
So, my sister got herself a nice little blog and just kind of ASSUMED that I had one! :) Silly girl...I actually had one like 2 years ago and then quit cuz...well, I dunno why, but whateva! I figure, this will give me something else to do rather than surf around on facebook while I'm at work, not to mention that I guess my sister really wants to know what I'm up to! So, Meredith...this one's for you, baby! :)
Let's see...what has "Auntie Bandaid" been up to these days you ask? Well, other than the boringness of school and work, my roommates and I decided to start a prank war with this guys apartment in our ward. So, we were nice and just pulled the ol' covering the door with newspaper and dumped crumpled up pages from our old phone books that we didn't want so that when they opened the door...BAM. That's right...covered in paper! Anyway, yesterday they got us back by stealing our oven door. I gotta say, I gotta give em props. They said that we can't get our door back until we give them 2 coloring books. I decided that we should all just bag the coloring books and cook over there from now on and make a special effort to make a lot of cookies and brownies n good smelling stuff and then just take it back to our apartment with us and not share any of it. haha. If anyone has any good ideas of what we can do to retaliate, please let me know! :)
Other than that, not a whole lot has been happening that's exciting anyway. Still no boyfriends or fiances...although, aparently, word on the street back home is that I'm engaged. hahaha. Good times. *cringes* My roommates are sure getting their jiggy on tho! 3 of them have already owed up for holding hands and it's only been the first month of classes. bwahahah! That's the great thing about living with me...my roommates always seem to get engaged which means lots of M&Ms, Pizza, Ice Cream and Steak! For those of you unfamiliar with BYU roommate dating policies, any roommates who commit the following offences owe their roommates: first hand holding incident = M&Ms, First kiss = ice cream, first make out = pizza and engagement = steak dinner (or wendy's dolla menu in our case except for Jen-well played girl!!) Anyway, there you have it...the excitement in my life. *waves goodbye*
