Dancin the night away!

So, we had our ward talent show last night and I thought y'all might like to see the video! I had a blast choreographing and dancing it! If there is one thing that I miss about high school other than the fact that it was insanely easy compared to college is that I miss performing all the time, so last night was definitely fun for me! I just wish I could do it more often!

I got a letter from Ron Dude the other day. He says he's doing so well with the discussions that his trainer guy has been really impressed with him. Gotta love the Ron Dude right??! As far as the housing stuff goes, Emily and I went shopping around to places that we heard were fun and when we looked at each one, we realized how much we love it here at Sparks. We just really weren't that excited abou the other places whereas here, the only bad thing is that there's no washer/dryer. So, I think we're going to stay here and just move into a 4 person apartment so we can have more refrigerator space! :) Anyway, I hope yall are doin well and I miss you bad! XOXO

Top o' the mornin to ya!

Its the time again! that's right...time for the apartment to look like a leprechaun barffed all over it! I decorated for St. Patties day when I got back and I'm lovin every minute of it! Although, I feel like I'm cheating out Easter since its the next week this year. That's okay tho...I'll just decorate for it in April and pretend like it was in that month. haha.

So, Emily and I have been trying to figure out where to live and I must say...it's not very fun. Although, one of her friends told us about this condo that's only 280 a month (plus gas and electric)...it has 3 floors (a half basement, a main floor, and top story with two bedrooms). There are separate bathrooms for each bedroom and another one on the main floor for guests. It has a washer dryer and covered parking and its close to campus. The girl said she loved the ward and that there were more guys than girls...that's a nice change! Ours has had a 3:1 girl guy ratio for the last two years. haha. So it sounds fun! We're gonna go check it out tomorrow and see what it actually looks like and we might sign a contract soon. I'll definitely be glad when I figure all of this out. I really hope they let me just sign a contract for summer and fall since I wont be around for the other two semesters. BLEH...apartment politics! :)

Laura and I both got to bed by 11:30 last night...it was beautiful! I dont know that that's happened...ever! Definitely something I'm gonna try for from now on. It was weird to wake up before my alarm clock and not want to shoot myself for feeling so tired. haha. Tomorrow should be a good day...in my cooking class, its diary week so we're making triffle. And no, I wont put in beef sauteed with peas and onions! :) Gotta love friends! Anyway, I'm outta here! XOXO

Over and gone

I can't believe how fast this weekend went. I swear I just got here! I wish the week would go by as fast as this weekend did. I'm gonna miss being home. Its always so much fun for me, but then again that's just cuz I have the best appendage ever (Sydney), we spend all day doing fun stuff for the most part...not to mention all the nintendo and board games we all play. Good times. I gotta tell ya...mario party on the wii is definitely fun. Much harder than I thought it would be! And I'm proud to say that I still have my pro bowling status on wii too! YAYUH!

Today at my sister's ward, Cheryl (a sister in their relief society presidency) comes up to me and says, "I just want to call you Bandaid, but I know that's not right!" haha. I just laughed and said its what everyone calls me anyway so it was okay. She guessed my name afterwards, but it was definitely funny. Talk about flashbacks to Washington. haha. I went to my parent's ward too to say hi to everyone and I saw Josh Runyon for the first time since he got back from his mission! talk about tan! Sheesh...I'm definitely jealous. I also saw sister Nebeker. I know that's really not relevant to anyone but Leash Dawg, but it was definitely awesome to see Neb Nebs! She was just visiting from Vegas, so it was definitely good timing.

Meredith, Sydney and I took our sunday nap together on my brothers bed...I know Syd is little, but sheesh...I never thought that 3 people could take a nap on a queen bed. haha good times. I really hope Ben isn't gettin the flu and that he just overdosed on the little smokies we had for dinner. His plate was half full of em! :)

I'm watching Oklahoma right now and its the part with the big dance thing...I really wish that we still had choreographed partner dances like that that everyone knew. How fun would that be?! And even a girl like me who doesn't like wearing dresses thinks it would be way fun to have the occasional town party where everyone gets all dressed up in fun dresses and dances and junk...maybe someday, but I highly doubt it! :) Anyway, I guess I should go finish packing or something! XOXOXO

GTT!

GONE TO TEXAS!!! does anyone remember that play we all had to be in in 4th grade? Good times...funny times too. Square dancing is definitely not my forte! :) Anyway, so I'm definitely back in Texas now and I'm loving every minute of it! Its been rainy and cold the whole time, but its totally worth it. We went around dallas for a bit visiting people and went and had lunch with Ben which is always good and lots and lots of playing and cuddling with Syd! Tonight, my bro and I definitely stayed up playing wii and watching Friends. Good times, good times. I'm not sure what's going down tomorrow, but whatever it is, it'll be awesome!

I hope everyone's valentines day was awesome! There wasn't a whole lot that went on that was different for me...other than having an awesome girls night in! We watched night at the museum and ate lots and lots of junk food. You really can't get much better than that! :)

Well, I've been up since like 3:15 this morning, so I think I'm gonna hit the sack so I can be all ready to go for tomorrows festivities!

I'll Always Be Irish! A Fact I'll Not Deny! :)

Holla! What's shakin?! Not too much has been going on here...just the same ol' same ol'! Although, I'm definitely counting down the days til I get to come home! In Sydney's language that would be "1 more nursery!" haha. yayuh! I'm so excited to get back to the warm weather and awesome family! boom baby! It seems like every day something happens to where I just get more and more excited to get out of provo for a few days! it will be well work the 260 bucks!

Fun story! I was in irish class yesterday and I guess there's some talent show thing for some group within the dance department so I'm dancing with them in it because they needed a few more people. So that should be fun. AND this weekend I get to go see Riverdance in SLC with some of my friends so its gonna be an Irish filled weekend! Ron's farewell is this weekend too so that'll be nice to see everyone again.

Anyway, I guess I should get back to work. I just spend the last 45 minutes talking to one of my co-workers about life. lol. I love working with psychologists! :) Hope yall are havin an awesome day!

Reaching the finish line

I did it y'all! I tried out for So You Think You Can Dance. It was actually a pretty lame-o experience, BUT on the bright side, I know how to get past the judges for future reference so maybe if I'm still wanting to try out next year, I'll know how to go about it better. Here's the scoop...when we got there (after waiting for about 3 hours) the preliminary judges asked us to raise our hands as to which style of dance we were trying out with. However, about 99.9% of the thousands of people who were there were jazz/contemporary including *raises her hand* you guessed it! Anyway, they said that only like 200 people tried out in Dallas...good thing that's where I'll be this time next year eh? But because there were so many of us, they had to start cracking down on all of us "unoriginal" sort. For the first hour and a half to two hours, they were handing tickets out like students hand out flyers in the WILK. (For those of you who never went to BYU...thats a LOT)!:) Anyway, after that amount of time, one of the judges got up and was like, because there are so many of you with this style, we have to be really selective, so pretty much, unless you are doing partner work or something really out of the ordinary with cool tricks we haven't seen before, you wont get through to the judges. How true that is! haha. So I basically sat in an auditorium and stood outside for a total of 7 hours to dance for 10 seconds...that's right...thats all the time we were given. It was still a really cool experience though. I'm glad I did it. No regrets remember?! And like I said, the good thing is, everyone that did partner work got through, so I'm sayin...booyah! Now all I have to do is find a guy that's a sucker that can work his way around the dance floor and is preferrably not gay. hahah. I got to sit next to and make friends with a black guy today though, so that's always good. I miss them...a lot. :) Anyway, I really gotta do homework now, I just thought I'd keep yall posted! XOXOXO
