Today's post will be short and sweet:
Short
I was at the store the other day and I saw something that immediately grabbed my attention and I thought to myself, 'self...that's retarded. Really?' What was it that I saw, exactly? Well I'll tell you. This girl had on a pair of cut off jean shorts. And by cut off, I mean cut off! The insides of her pockets were LONGER THAN HER SHORTS! I'm sorry...but there's a problem with that. If your pockets go further down your leg than your actual shorts do, you have a problem. And frankly, its a problem that I don't want to know about. Ew ew ew! Who thought that would be a good idea? I'm not sure. Why don't you just wear your underwear around outside...its basically the same deal. Yuck.
Sweet
So, we all know that I LOVE my nieces...my sister wrote a funny post about the things we aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc. do for our nieces/grandkids while we're playing. She posted a bunch of pictures and it was fun to go back and look through all of them. Sadly, this wasn't even like half of the stupid things I've done in efforts to satisfy their imaginations. Here's the newest picture though...Malla and Syd and I end up dancing to 'Auntie's song' (aka Party in the USA) while I'm over there for lunch. One day, the girls decided that we had to have dress up gloves, but alas, we had none. So, what did they run and get? Socks...yes socks. And yes, I gave in to the peer pressure and joined in on the fun!
Not exactly sure what I was doing in this picture, but when am I ever? :) Her post was funny to read tho...take a gander if you so choose. Anyway, friends, family and whoever else...I'm signing out for the night. Its definitely long passed my bedtime and I'm ready for some sweet dreams about Chuck and Ireland *hopes for something good tonight* XOXO
