The bug!

So, either I'm really nice and having sympathy pains for Ben, Meredith and Syd, or my body is just way more resilient than theirs cuz I finally got the flu that they all had last week. It's not bad, but I'm definitely staying home tonight so it doesn't get worse. Bad timing to get sick! BLEH...but its okay..>I love them anyway. Its better than getting sick while I'm at home on vacation. Although, I miss getting babied by my mommy! :) Well, it's quittin time! Peace!

What year is it again?

Okay, so here is my new dilema...at work, I've been entering data into our databases for the last eternity, it seems. Anyway, all of the data that I'm entering now is from 2004 and I realized the other day when I was doing budgeting stuff for work, I was putting 2004 on everything. I had to go back and look at all of my papers that I have written in the last little while that I haven't turned in yet to make sure that I put the right year on it! Sad, sad, sad. I guess I shouldn't feel too bad about though. I remember when i came up to BYU to visit Puden when I was a senior in high school, I went to class with him and Pooh and they had a paper due in American Heritage that day. I look at Pooh's paper and it said like September 23, 2002 or something like that, when it was really April 2004. Talk about hilairous. He was like yeah, so I stayed up all night writing this paper and when I woke up this morning to reread it to make sure it made sense, it wasn't even about what the paper was supposed to be about! hahaha...poor pooh bear. Gotta love it though. Classic!

I heard it was supposed to snow today...it makes me cold just thinking about it. But, no worries, cuz I got my SPACE HEATER. Pretty sure that my boss loves me a lot for buying me that last Christmas. Or maybe he looks at me shivering in my corner and he felt bad for me. hahaha. Oh well, the motive doesn't matter...what matters is that I have it and I'm warm! I remember busting it out in the middle of September though, so I'm pretty sure if it gets any colder than this (which I'm sure it will) I'm going to die! :) Well, Meredith, I hope you guys get home okay! Back in the groove...

Thanksgiving is over and I must say, I'm kinda bummed! Actually, I'm really bummed. I've got my senior thesis paper due on Tuesday which...well, let's just say that I will be living in the library today, and now that I think of it...I'll be living there for the next week and a half. My 50 hour family history project is due next week and I definitely only have like 17 hours. I really need to learn not to procrastinate, but let's face it, if I haven't learned how not to do it by now, the chances of me changing it are kinda slim! :) Meh well, what's college life without no sleep right?

I hope everyone's Thanksgiving was awesome! I know mine was! It was so awesome to see Ben, Meredith and Syd again! I just love those guys! Meredith and I were talking the other day about how this has probably been the easiest semester for the both of us since I've gotten to see her every month this semester except for September...now that I think of it, that month went by INCREDIBLY slowly! :) It definitely couldn't have happened during a better semester tho. I dunno what I'd do without my Mer Bear!

I definitely got to put up my Christmas decor these last few days and it makes me so much happy! Not to mention that I've been listening to Christmas music like mad! Nothing better than a little Nsync Christmas to brighten your day! lol...especially in below freezing weather! *cries* Just know that i'm extremely jealous of all y'all back in Texas for getting to be in "warm" weather! Welp, I'm out...gotta get back to work as usual! I can't wait to see yall for Christmas!!! XOXO

The Countdown to Thanksgiving

HOLLA! So can I tell you how excited I am to have a few days off with no work or school. It has definitely been needed since like 2 months ago. haha. I'm pretty sure I wont get too caught up with everything, but I have plans to...lol. That's all that matters right? If anything, Meredith, make sure I write my research paper and get caught up on my reading ok? And maybe my two other papers for marriage prep...do you know how nice it will be if I can get that all done?! WOOO! We're doing this study at work were I have to go observe the teachers and students in their classrooms which is way fun, but since the times during the day that I have to go are the target student's most difficult time of the day, its not during my work hours which means it pretty much shoots any free time I have in between classes. You know what that means...no homework time and more importantly, no nap time. BLEH. I'm gonna die. haha. Oh well, hopefully my boss will let me take off the extra two hours somewhere else so I wont have to come in or something.

This weekend is gonna be pretty busy...I've got two dates and I owe pizza to this other guy cuz I lost a bet. haha...so Meredith, I'm gonna try hard to see you on Saturday cuz I want to really bad, but i probably wont be able to stay incredibly long. For sure though, I'll come by on Sunday after my church meetings n stuff.

So there's this guy that I like and its driving me crazy...I haven't felt like so much of a stupid little girl in a long time. I don't have time to only think about him during the day! lol. Unfortunately, that's how it happens a lot! BLEH. And then when i'm with him I'm like...hmmm...is he ever gonna hold my hand already? UGH...boys drive me crazy. The end.

Anyway, I'm totally stoked that some of my favorite people are comin in a couple of days! YAYUH! I can't wait. This will be a MUCH needed reunion! I need to get out of Provo, BAD (as you can probably tell from the previous paragraph). Anyway, I gotta get back to work. Peace ladies! XOXO

Not-Thanksgiving

Howdy do dah! So, do you ever get so dry that every part of your body itches? especially when you sit indian style or soemthing and it stretches your skin and it almost hurts? ew...Utah can be a pretty stinky situation! I'm excited to go back to Texas where you don't need lotion because you're in a constant sweat! YEAH.

Sunday is gonna be awesome...my apartment and a guys apartment in the ward are having a not Thanksgiving feast. We're making a lot of Thanksgiving food and chowing down. To add to it, my apartment is dressing up like Indians and they are dressing up like Pilgrims. Its gonna rock.

So, funny story...I turned in the rough draft to my senior theme paper and my teacher called me up to his desk after class on Tuesday and so I'm like freaking out thinking he think I plagerized or something and he was like so...I LOVED your paper. Have you ever thought about writing self-help books? hahah He proceeded to talk for about 5 minutes about how he could see me on a billboard somewhere with my best selling book. haha. I was like ummm no...but now I'm thinking about it. lol. Not that I would ever do it, cuz honestly...writing when i don't have to? BLEH. haha anyway, I thought it was funny tho!

Can I say how excited I am for everyone to come up for Thanksgiving? YEAH! Anyway, I will leave yall with a word of praise...GO MAVS! WOOO!! XOXO

Halloween Hooligans

HAPPY HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

WAHOO! IT'S FINALLY HERE! I stayed up last night to finish my costume with my roommates and may I just say that we LOOK GOOD! YAYUH! Talk about awesome. I'm so darn excited. Rest assured, there will be pictures! The only bad thing about a holiday coming up is that after today, it will be over. Sad day...but that also means that on Thursday I get to redecorate for Thanksgiving. And you know what that means...it's almost time to decorate for CHRISTMAS. haha. Not to mention that my favorite people are coming up to the cold bad place weather for Turkey Day. I would really prefer to travel down there...I've never appreciated birds more than I do now...flying south for the winter is so dang smart. Whoever stays here if they have a free one way ticket to warm weather is cRaZy. I have met so many people from Utah and I'm thinking...WHY? Why haven't you moved yet? hahaha...I guess I'm just biased cuz I love it in Texas and not so much in Utah when it's cold. Although, I will admit that if I go to Texas Women's to get my masters like I'm kinda planning, it will be really weird to not be in a Mormon school. It has definitely been the coolest experience.

Anyway, so I get to DJ the party tonight...lucky for me! :) That just means that the music is gonna rock since I'll be in charge. haha. After which I will proceed to partake in yet ANOTHER bet. Which by the way, I lost the card game bet, but won the stinky socks bet, so it worked out well. Anyway, tonight's bet is on pizza for a Mario kart tournament on N64. I'm fairly confident only because when I'm losing, I cheat. Aka, sitting in front of the TV so the other person can't see, or unplugging their controller. He never said I couldn't cheat whenever we laid down the rules, so I'm good to go! :)

May I just say that I wrote an 8 page paper on Monday night, and studied hardcore for a midterm that I just took (and feel pretty good about by the way) and now I just have one more paper to write which I've already found the articles for!! I'm so glad I made it through this week without passing out.

So there was this lost dog that was roaming around our apartment complex for the last little bit so we've taken her in and fed her n stuff. She has a collar but no tags or anything and she's soooo sweet. Anyway, last night she kept wanting to sleep on my bed with me, however...can we say no? I kick. :) Anyway, I guess I threw one of my cuddle pillows off the bed last night and when I woke up she was like totally sprawled out on it. lol. needless to say, I'll definitely be washing that thing before I reuse it, but she's just so cute and I love it! Anyway, I have class now, so I'm out! LATAS!! XOXO
